For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes the consumer's domain name and e-mail address (where possible).

We collect the domain name and e-mail address (where possible) of visitors to our Web page, the e-mail addresses of those who post messages to our bulletin board, the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, the e-mail addresses of those who make postings to our chat areas, aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit, user-specific information on what pages consumers access or visit, information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations.

The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web page, used to customize the content and/or layout of our page for each individual visitor, used to notify consumers about updates to our Web site, not shared with other organizations for commercial purposes.

Terms of Service

Visitors to the World Wide Songwriters Association website use this site under but not limited to the following terms of service.

The World Wide Songwriters Association cannot and will not be held responsible for any damage caused directly or indirectly to any computer or system connected directly or indirectly to the WWSWA website.  This site allows for visitors/members to upload information and or files that are available to other visitors/members.  The WWSWA cannot and will not be held responsible for any inappropriate content that visitors/members may upload to the site.  If you find any offensive material, please report it immediately to the email address above.

 Any member uploading songs that are not their property will assume all legal responsibility for their actions and the World Wide Songwriters Association will fully cooperate with and assist authorities in prosecuting violators.  Violators will have their membership immediately cancelled.  The World Wide Songwriters Association makes no guarantee of access to the site, and the site may be subject to closure at any time without refund of any membership fees or subscriptions.  We maintain a no refund policy, however,  we may offer refunds in certain situations at the sole discretion of the World Wide Songwriters Association.

Any visitor/member who uses this site in any manner other than what this site is intended for may be removed and or permanently blocked from having access to this site.  The WWSWA has created a thriving online community and by using this site all visitors/members are required to conduct themselves in a manner that is constructive and respectful of others at all times.

Members/Visitors may not use this site for:

Any activity or practices that affect the normal operations of the site.

Posting or uploading any libelous, defamatory, or illegal material that could give rise to any civil or criminal liability.

Advertising or linking to any information or websites that are age restricted due to content, or obscene and/or pornographic in nature.

Posting or uploading any material that is under copyright by another party, or does not belong to the visitor/member.

The WWSWA cannot and will not be held responsible for any actions by visitors/members that may be obscene, criminal, unlawful, illegal, and or disrespectful.  Please report any activities that you feel are inappropriate to the above email address.

 

Only one(1) free membership per household is allowed on the World Wide Songwriters Association website.  Signing up under different user names is not permitted and will result in cancellation and or removal of your account.  We may collect your IP Address to enforce these terms of service.

 

Member/Visitors found practicing any of the above behaviors are subject to being removed and or permanently blocked from having access to this site.

 

Copyright Policy (Please Read)

WWSWA members remain the original copyright holder in all materials provided on the community. Use of the material inconsistent with the terms and conditions set forth is prohibited and considered an infringement of the copyrights of the respective holders unless specially stated otherwise. Members are not to post non-original works to which they do not hold the copyright or which they have not cleared with the copyright holder.
 

The WWSWA maintains a Zero Tolerance Policy on certain behaviors and or activities including but not limited to the following:

-Soliciting or trading of any products illegally, including but not limited to, requests and or distribution of programs, files, music files etc.

-Personal threats of physical harm, violence, or intimidation towards another individual or group of individuals.

-Vulgar or obscene comments or statements, or profanity will not be tolerated within the community.

-Any attempts at sharing membership privileges or avoidance of member fees is strictly prohibited.

-The WWSWA is NOT a file swapping site.  Any members/visitors found engaging in this practice will be immediately reported to the RIAA for prosecution.

Member/Visitors found practicing any of the above behaviors are subject to being removed and or permanently blocked from having access to this site.

By Joining the WWSWA you agree that you are  the legal copyright holder of the works submitted by postal mail or submitted electronically by any method. Furthermore you agree that you are giving the World Wide Songwriters Association Express Written Consent to rebroadcast your original works over the internet, radio, television or any form of electronic or digital media that can or may be used for promotional purposes of the WWSWA and the Songwriter of the original works. You also understand and agree to allow the World Wide Songwriters Association to solicit any of your original works to publishers, record labels, record executives, A&R companies and or affiliates to promote your original works as The World Wide Songwriters Association executives may chose to do so. You also understand that we will contact you should we chose to use your material in any promotional or should we wish to solicit your material to any publishers, record labels, record executives, A&R companies and or our endorsed affiliates.
