Ken Johnson is a singer/songwriter from Birmingham, Alabama who has recently been stirring up quite a buzz here in Nashville. He writes regularly with some of the best writers in town, and performs with his band to showcase his songwriting and performing talents. I recently had the chance to attend one of Ken's shows at 3rd & Lindsley in Nashville. From beginning to end the show was filled with one consistent theme; Passion.
Rarely do you see a songwriter filled with such energy and devotion to his craft. The only flaw I could find with the whole entire show was that it ended sooner than I had hoped. I was left wanting to hear much more from this talented young man. Not only was Ken's show fantastic, he was one heck of a nice guy, as he sat and chatted with me after the show and spent plenty of time getting to know some of his adoring fans. |

In a city of amazingly talented singers, songwriters and musicians, Ken certainly stands out in all three categories. Having recently signed a major publishing deal with Windswept Pacific, Ken is on the verge of making his mark on the music city in a big way. Ken also recently was kind enough to take the time to sit down for an interview exclusively for the World Wide Songwriters Association and our members, which can be heard here on the WWSWA site. This former stock broker turned singer - songwriter certainly seems to be well on his way to building quite a career in the music industry. | ||

With musical influences ranging from Bluegrass to Led Zeppelin, Ken's songs cover a broad spectrum of musical genres. It is no surprise that he comes from a background where music was always a big part of his life. It is refreshing to see an artist pour his heart and soul into their performance the way Ken does, really making a connection with the audience. We are happy to have Ken involved with the World Wide Songwriters Association and we look for big things for him in the future.
