We were able to make a quality recording with it right out of the box, without spending hours reading complicated manuals. (We hate reading the instructions) Putting a song idea from your head to CD has never been this easy.

Of course making a quality recording requires a high quality microphone. We were extremely impressed with the Shure KSM27 which we found to perform as well as mics costing 3 times as much. Smooth and quiet while being crystal clear it was great for vocals or acoustic instruments. The mic also includes a free shock mount which was a great freebie. Unless you have thousands of dollars to spend for a mic, check this one out first.
